Is it normal for a male rabbit to bite a female rabbit while humping her?

We got a new bunny today, a female for our male rabbit. When he humps her she doesn't seem to care, but we don't know whether it's normal or not that the male bites chunks of hair off her fur coat. She is spayed and the male is not neutered. Anyone have any experience with this?Is it normal for a male rabbit to bite a female rabbit while humping her?
first...to the Sicko...that is not a fetish. If you bite animals, that is a fetish. When an animal behaves as it is intended to that is normal. If you dont know an answer, just bow out.

It is not abnormal for him to bite, but it is not a good thing either, as bite wounds can be serious, and lead to life threatening infections, and also stress that affects rabbits GI tract, can also be fatal. check out this site, has drop down menu to help find what you are looking for quickly...

It is one of the oldest sites on internet, and unlike some of the advice on these pages, will not spew out any old thing just to get points. or whatever.

they should NOT be sharing a cage, the male will hump her too much and she will become exhausted and that is bad for her. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS ASAP!!!!!
Humans bite each other during sexual actions also
That is normal for mating, but since she is spayed he is being a little mean. You should separate them if he doesn't quit.
it is normal

most male animals hold on to the female in someway

rabbits use their mouth
YEA!!! I KNO its weird but i had about 60 rabits and yea alot of them did that lol
yes its normal hes just holding on alot of animals do it.
Even rabbits have fetishes, I guess...
