Rabbit..........?

I have 2 rabbits one of them was given to me about 3hrs ago in the morning would it be too soon to let them both out of there cages at the same time? The rabbits are about the same age.there is like 3-4 months different.Rabbit..........?
I agree that setting the cages side by side for a while may be a good start. It may aid in the understanding that they have to coexist.

I would try first, letting one out while the other is caged, and trading them out so they can both begin to leave their scent around the house and get used to that to begin with.

I would try this for about a month if the female is being mean, and then slowly integrate them from there, doing shortly spanned trials with treats, and such.

Another thing, may be that they simply do not want a bond with one another, so perhaps they will get along better if they have their bonds with a realistic bunny stuffed animal first, they will not be so cross with one another.

I highly recommend the site www.rabbit.org for some creative, experienced and educated answers for you. It's a non profit group geared toward the love, happiness and health of you and your rabbit family members.Rabbit..........?
First, you need to know if one can get the other pregnant. Are they fixed? Both males? Both females? Don't know?

If they can possibly breed, they will. Don't let them play together until you're certain that you can't get a litter from them.

Until they get used to each-other, keep a close eye on them. Rabbits can be quite aggressive as they establish a hierarchy.
It might be a good idea to put the 2 cages side by side for a day or two. That way they can see each other yet be protected in case they don't get along. I wouldn't put them in the same cage right off tho. Give them time to do get acquainted first. Watch for any signs of aggression from either one of them. Then, if you see that they will get along, put them in the same cage. 'm not sure if they would fight each other. But, it is better to be safe than sorry.
I would set thier cages together for a few days to get them used to each other, sometimes when a new rabbit is introduced they will fight so let them get aquainted first.
