What are the characteristics of a rabbit?

I am going to be reading animal farm in school soon and my teacher wants us to think about what animal we are and then find out what characteristics we have in commen with them. Well, mine is a bunny and no matter how hard I look I can't find any answers that are not physical or bahavioral. I need personality wise. So you if you tell me it's characteristic or give me a site that has them that would help very much. Thank you.

Doomo Arigatoo. Doozo Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu. What are the characteristics of a rabbit?
they have feelings very much like us, they feel + show them like we do.

1) love + affection, rubs its chin on you to say, ';you're mine';

2) loneliness head can hang down or not active until owner comes along.

3) depressed - head hangs down

4) forms a close bond with you

5) does the happy dance when you are around + let him/her run loose. Shake their heads sideways like a horse, kick their feet up in the air, doing some jerky moving jumps. This is how they play.

6) love toys just like people do.

7) feel safe in their own homes, where someone bigger is looking after them keeping them from harm.

8) dependant on you to take care of them + feed them, take them to dr when sick.

9) act like kids when they're young, more settled down when they get older

10) they age + can get some of the same diseases people do like, cancer, tumors, diabetes, heart problems, arthritis, + other things. They need special care just like seniors do when they get old

11) their appearance changes with age too, they don't keep their fur as neat as they did when they were younger

12) they aren't as active like most senior people

13) they can get respiratory infections, + other body infections too. (eyes)

14) they can get scared of strange things, show their fear like people do.

15) show anger too.

16) physically try to protect themselves, will pounce on something to make it go away, scare it away. Make noises to scare it away.

17) cry just like we do but in a different way. They have to be in extreme pain for you to ever hear this.

18) need food, water, clean environment to survive.

19) thrive on family nurturing, cuddles, love, talking to them + paying attention to them, need to know they are loved.

20) very social, they need people's attention + playtime to survive. Wild rabbits have other rabbits for company. A lonely domestic rabbit has no one.

21) they can even lose the will to live, as an abused rabbit might.

22) unfortunately animals get abused just like people do, either one isn't acceptable.

23) they have the same organs as we do, heart, lungs, digestive system, eyes, their senses are better than ours but they still have the same ones as we do.

Good luck with your school project. What are the characteristics of a rabbit?
that rabbits and people are both... amorous...
rabbits hump fast as **** so were kinda alike
Try going to rabbit.org they have a behavior/characteristics section to give you idea.

I have 2 rabbits.

They are pretty tidy, they like a routine (feeding), and don't like it if you rearrange their cage (space), they are very possessive and territorial of their things like toys and food bowls.

They are very social, LOVE attention and are very affectionate.

But some rabbits are different depending on how they were raised and if they domesticated or wild.

hope i helped a little!
Rabbits live in large colonies usually dominated by one female (doe). The colony will eat together and look out for one and other and communicate by thumping their hind leg, this is usually if danger is present. They are natural diggers which provides them with shelter a nest and a place to retreat from predators. Rabbits can be very aggressive and competition between male can often lead to death. They do this by using their hind leg to kick aswell as biting and scratching. Rabbits are herbivoures feeding mainly on grass, cloves and some herbs. Rabbits are noctournal so they will usually eat at night and sleep during the day in their burrows. After rabbits eat they will return to their burrow and pass dropping which they eat to extract all the nourishment.
i cant speak for all Bunny's but i can tell you about mine ....... things i think she has in common with people ( mainly children ) if shes wants feeding she keeps on at you by pulling at my trousers , now this doesn't mean normal food as this it down all the time, but if she feels its time for a treat she wont let up , much like a child asking over and over again. so she is persistent .... if she cant get her own way , like have a treat or your attention she sulks ... she will become quiet and thump her back feet on the floor , like some one getting cross...... when shes happy you have come home and she pleased to see you she runs around all excited , jumping up and wanting to be around you , like some one you have missed and want to tell them about your day........she is very very lazy and like to lay around chilling ..... she has very certain tastes in food and doesn't always like the things that are good for her , she loves a biscuit out of the tin .......she is very stubborn and set in her ways...... she is also very loving and sticks to the people she knows , never very forthcoming with new people...... she is, as i think all rabbits are, very clean and washes herself alot ....and very play-full.... not sure if this helps ..... try looking on the national house rabbit society web page they might help
Bunnies are amazing once you get to know them. Mine have favorite toys which they throw with their teeth. If they get cross they nibble my sleeve. If a male fancies a female he will run around her with tail in air. Some make noises when they are happy, whilst hopping. If I catch my Blackberry eating one of my plants I shout at him and he eats quicker until just before I get to him and he runs,
