How can I catch a wild rabbit who need to get medical help?

There is a small rabbit in my neighborhood with a small arrow through its back. It looks as though it may have been there a while. It goes in one side and out the other - I beleive it is just passed through the flesh accross its back.





We would like to take it into the wild-life rescue but have no idea how to trap it.





It is small and would easily fit into a cat carrierHow can I catch a wild rabbit who need to get medical help?
You could try a live trap, but rabbits are very hard to catch, so you may be better off using a long handled net.


Other than that call animal rescue and see if they will come out and catch him, but to be honest I doubt thay;ll be interested!!

there are certain traps for squrrels and stuff like that where you put a pice of food in it and then when the animal goes in the door and steps on where the food is the doors shut imediatly and it does not harm animals at all
maybe you could get a trap..the kind that ketches them alive ..other then that rabbits are hard to ketch after they are 3 weeks old.
Phone your animal control. They are experienced at this sort of thing and will likely set out some live traps with something tasty in them.
