How do i stop my boyfriends rabbit raping the new baby kitten?

Elvis - Boyfriends rabbit, Likes to rape the families new kitten, She play fights him off, but he's a GIANT Persistent bunny, and she's just bigger than my hands. I said footballs are good, my bunny used to mount footballs, but im not too sure if that was my bunny being strange.

Ideas? How do i stop my boyfriends rabbit raping the new baby kitten?
This is the bunny's way of showing dominance. I've seen them do this to full grown cats and even dogs! They will also defend their territory, in this case it could be the bunny's entire home... or just his cage or litter/ food area. He likely sees the kitten as an invader. They can bite and claw too.

Can you keep them separate until the kitten grows? Definitely separate them when you are not there!! The kitten could be hurt if the bunny bites (they are aggressive about their territory!) o jst from the weight. It can also really effect your kitten's personality. make her aggressive too or always scared.

Please be careful! How do i stop my boyfriends rabbit raping the new baby kitten?
Both Lusitano and Zeb G have it right. This is a normal social behavior for both male and female rabbits. It is not necessarily sexual, rather, the way rabbits establish a pecking order. Keeping the cat and rabbit separate, especially when somebody is not there to supervise, it the first thing you should do.

If you catch the rabbit doing this, first, pull it off the cat, then place your hand on the rabbits shoulders and pin it to the floor for a few seconds, just enough pressure to hold it down, not enough to hurt it. This establishes your dominance over the rabbit in the rabbits mind.

The rabbit should also have a safe place that it can go to, such as a cage or hutch and this should be accessible to the rabbit when it is let out and about.

Spaying or neutering the rabbit can reduce the tendency to assert dominance.
Keep them apart! I had a rabbit that was a big bunny boy who was pestered by my neighbors male kitten and my Rabbit (Billabong!) hastened his castration by attempting to do it himself! He had had enough of being humped and attack the cat and actually bit one testicle off.

Frustration in rabbits can lead to blood-shed in a big way. He may really hurt your kitten.
start by putting your Bunny in time out, a good hole hour in a small box with no attention... if bunny still rapes the cat then you talk with him tell him how this makes you feel ..... look him strait in the eye and tell him he is a bunny and should be raping other Bunny's ..... oh you could try giving your cat some self deafens lessons ......Or buy another bunny........for Elvis i mean
omg. its gonna be a.......';';buncat';'; !~!~!awesome!~!~!
