What does it mean to neutuer a rabbit, and why should you do it?

Some people have reccommended i get my rabbit neutuered, what does this mean and how much does it cost? What does it mean to neutuer a rabbit, and why should you do it?
It is an operation to stop the rabbit being able to breed. It is not only worth it to stop your rabbit getting other rabbits pregnant, but also because if you do not get it done he may become moody and do certain unpleasant things.

It is either free or around 拢60, depending where you go, but definitely worth it! Both my rabbits have been neutered. What does it mean to neutuer a rabbit, and why should you do it?
Neutering a boy rabbit (assuming it's a boy as it's called spay for a girl). Boys have a tendency to spray and hump anything in sight at around 6 months of age.

Neutering is removing the testes from a boy and they recover very fast. It's a quick operation but should be performed by a vet experienced in rabbit surgery.

Neutering will not change your bunny's personality but will help calm him down. A boy bunny should still not be put with an intact girl bunny for the first few weeks after surgery as he can still father babies. Four weeks after surgery will be a safe bet to let him back with unspayed girls.
like many others have said its an operation, its a good idea it will make them more stable personality and they will be less likely to run off and it also pretty much (if not all the way)eliminates the risk of testicular cancer, its not painful and it could possibly even extend his life...(I know that un spayed and un neutered cats don't live as long usually because they end up with diseases from going all over)
its the operation so they can't have babies. I rang around loads of vets and the cheapest i found was 拢45 for my boy rabbit. think it might be slightly more expensive for a girl as its a more invasive operation x
If you only have one rabbit you don't have to have it neutered the cost can vary from around 拢60 pounds females cost more .It means they can't have babies .
To neuter means to make your rabbit physically incapeable of producing young.

It's similar to castrating.

Generally, neutering costs around 拢50 to 拢100.
its to stop a male from breeding. if you dont do it, it may gey another rabbit pregnant. it doesnt cost much...probably $20 (in us) maybe?
its an operation to stop ur rabbit from continuely breeding, you should only really consider gettin ur rabbit neutred if he or she is living with the opposite sex the cost of it will depend on the vets u go to xx
an operation to stop it from breeding. Its a good idea unless you want hundreds of baby rabbits, its free in England but i dont know about anywhere else.
No don't do it unless you want him with females, or he is agressive.
Its called chopping their bits off .........
