How can i keep my rabbit safe when no one is home?

Well, im getting a rabbit for my birthday and i wont always be there around to care for it. I probably will have to leave it alone for about 3-5 hours a day... How can i keep it safe inside a cage or outside of the cage (considering that it might scratch, bite anything) thank-you !How can i keep my rabbit safe when no one is home?
The rabbit should be in a cage whenever no one is supervising it. Get a nice large cage with a secure door, make sure it has everything it needs, and it will be fine.

If you have any other pets, put the rabbit cage in a room where they cannot get to it.

Have you considered adopting a rabbit from a shelter or rescue? Check out http://petfinder.com/How can i keep my rabbit safe when no one is home?
Keep it in a cage or a room that it can't get out of with plenty of food and water, it should be fine.
keep in a secure cage where no dogs or cats can mess with it

keep plenty of water and rabbit food

put some hay in side a toilet paper roll with just the cardbord
Keep the rabbit inside the cage! That will keep your rabbit safe!
keep it in a cage with food or water or a room with the door close.
Keep it in the cage with food and water ,and shut the door
