They are both spayed/neutered, and she is the dominant one. He just sits there and lowers his head and submits to her. He didnt even flinch when she did it. Will his whiskers grow back?My female rabbit chewed off most of my male rabbits whiskers. Why did she do that and will it hurt him?
They will grow back. It is perfectly normal. Even though this type of behavior should be discouraged, it is something that is very hard to prevent when you pair rabbits. If it gets to the point where she starts to chew the fur off of his face, then you need to separate them.My female rabbit chewed off most of my male rabbits whiskers.
