Can a rabbits personality change when you neuter them?Is There any risks in neutering a rabbit?

My bunny is so cute and he never bites and never pees inside. He runs around the place when he sees us going out to him because he is happy to see us.He also licks me.He is so adorable and i love him so much.

I would hate it if that personality changed when i get my bunny neutered. Can a rabbits personality change when you neuter them?Is There any risks in neutering a rabbit?
when I had my bun neutered, his personality remained pretty much the same. the only thing that really changed was that he was less aggressive and stopped marking his territory by spraying. litter training became easier too.Can a rabbits personality change when you neuter them?Is There any risks in neutering a rabbit?
I've never had a rabbit as a pet before. But i do know the fact that once a pet gets neutered, their libido (sex drive) would decrease because their hormone level will be lower.

That would probably change a bit of their behaviour but not their personality towards you or other people in your home.

there's nothing to worry about, there are a few advantages in neutered pets, they would have a lower change in having infection or diseases from their reproductive organs so that's a bonus : )
Hello,

What is the point of neutering him,if he's already very good? How old is he? Rabbits go through their 'teenage' period at around 5-8 months old,if he is any younger than that, the chances are he may change %26amp; become a moody little bun. Neutering doesn't change their personality, just calms them a little reduces testosterone levels in males(bucks). It helps to curbs behavioral attitudes too, such as urine spraying or biting etc,. Bucks,(male bunnies) can be neutered as early as 4-5 months old.

It doesn't change their adorable personalities! Good luck.xxx
