What are the requirements in rabbit shows for mini lops?

Also what does my rabbit need?

She has a pedigree, anything else? What are the requirements in rabbit shows for mini lops?
Shows are cruel, and stressful, and stress kills rabbits. Rabbits and other living things are NOT HOBBIES! :((((((((((((

Shows do not kill rabbits. People who say things like that are ignorant and need to learn before they speak....

Ok, so I am not sure how much you know, so I am just gonna throw a bunch of stuff in there. I am not sure on the exact show specifications of a mini lop because I have never raised them, but here are a couple of good web sites that can help you with specifics.

Very helpful site: http://www.rabbitandcavydirectory.com/Br鈥?/a>

If this site doesn't work for you, you might also want to check out the ARBA website (just google it)

Some things that all rabbits must have in order to be shown are that they must have 5 toes and nails on the front feet %26amp; 4 on the back (which is not usually a problem), they must be in good condition (not under weight/over weight, not dirty, good coat condition, etc.), they must be a recognized color for that breed, and they have to be within any weight requirement (for example, I raise Flemish Giants, which must be at least 13 pounds to be shown). Those are the basic things that any show rabbit must meet. They don't actually need a pedigree to be shown, but it is important for any breeding purposes and can help figure any problems that the rabbit may encounter due to genetic breeding problems (if any). All show rabbits must also have an identification tattoo in their left ear. This can be any number or word that you like and is just there to help in case there are any mix ups or if your rabbit wins or something like that. I am not sure how much you know about showing rabbits, but tattooing is one thing that most people who are unfamiliar with things sometimes get upset about. It is just like getting your ears pierced and only hurts for about a second, then is gone. Other than that, there is really nothing to showing. I would suggest finding someone in your local area that shows rabbits or going to a local show and looking around. Most people are more than happy to help!
