How do I get rabbit blood out of my jeans?

It's been there for a good few months now. I've tried everything I can think of to get it out!How do I get rabbit blood out of my jeans?
Oxy CleanHow do I get rabbit blood out of my jeans?
I would really like to know how you got rabbit blood on your jeans.
If you haven't dried them yet, try WD-40 and let it set over night. Then wash in cold water. We had a rabbit and normally Shout would do the trick but sometimes I had to use the WD-40. Good Luck!
Maybe you used hot water??? Hot water on a fresh stain can cause the blood to set the stain..... you should have soaked in cold salty water for several hours, like 5 - 7 hrs, and then washed as normal, using soap powder..... but its been few months! and you didnt give up yet! wow! thats a long time...

instead of spending money on laundry and detergents... treat yourself to a new pair of jeans....

If you love that jeans so much (sometimes i cant give away some items of clothing too LOL) try diluting hydrogen peroxide in water (50-50), or just apply to the stain with an eyedropper because its an old stain, but be careful for that it could damage the fabric!!! (blood is a protein, you might break the fabric if you remove blood the wrong way).... notice that once the peroxide turns white and bubbly, rinse jeans with cold water and repeat if it still needs to be cleaned! If you mix the hydrogen peroxide with water its better because you can reduce the possible damage.

Why dont you try making a paste of baking soda?? apply it to stain and hang out in the sun.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.... Blood can carry viruses. If the blood isn't your own blood, wear latex gloves while cleaning, and throw them away when you are done....

Might as well consider buying yourself a new pair... right?

Buy rock and republic :P

It stains your teeth too?
Well I'm assuming since you got rabbit blood on your jeans you must have harmed a lil bunny rabbit and if so I hope it stays there forever
Good luck with that. I got rabbit's blood on my shoes n it never came off.
For a few months? Wow.

If you have wash AND dried the jeans, I would say no. Drying the stain, regardless of what it is, will normally set the stain into the fabric.

I have had a lot of luck with the Dryel home dry cleaning spot remover. It is in the kit sold in most grocery stores - comes with a little bottle/applicator and fabric pad to put behind the stain. Use the bottle like you would a marker - almost coloring the spot out.

Other good items to try:

Agreeing with what was said before - cold water soak and peroxide or baking soda.

Bars of laundry soap with pumice stones

Oxyclean - two scoops with your favorite laundry detergent

Clorox bleach for colors

As a last resort - consider re-dying the spot on your jeans. However, ensuring you get the same color would be tricky - may have to resort to re-dying the entire pair of jeans.

Good luck.
Get some salt/ baking soda and water and soak your jeans in it for 30 minutes. Make sure the water is cold or warm (not hot!) Then wash and bleach it normally.
try peroxide and a good cold water pre-soak, do not put in a dryer until you are satisfy on the cleaning job though
Why does it have to be rabbit blood? Couldn't it be just plain blood?
Why what have you been doing?
Cold water and Detergent.

Good Luck!!
