What is the difference between a real and false rabbit pregnancy?

My rabbit might be pregnant, but it might be false so I need to know the difference in the symptoms. Please help me!What is the difference between a real and false rabbit pregnancy?
I am a rabbit breeder I show rabbits and ect.

Pretty much their is not much difference between a fasle and real pregnancy pretty much how I always tell the difference is by palpating my doe and seeing if I can feel any kits inside her and if you didn't know a rabbit is pregnant for 28 to 30 days and depending on the breed o rabbit depends when she would pluck fur b4 going into labor like mini rex's for instance once you see them plucking fur like right after you will see some babies popping out now Netherland dwarfs sometimes pluck fur a day sometimes b4 they actually go in labor but the signs to look for are plucked fur, trying to make a nest, if the doe stops eating which means she is going into labor, some can get very aggresive and don't want you anywhere near their cage and will charge at you or grunt at you.

Hope this helps if you have any more question you can e-mail me at jamsmem90@earthlink.netWhat is the difference between a real and false rabbit pregnancy?
The main difference between a real pregnancy and a false pregnancy is the lack of babies in a false pregnancy. In a false pregnancy, the rabbit will exhibit all the signs that she is pregnant because she thinks she is pregnant. She may act more agressive and she will pull fur just like she is going to have babies, but then there will be no babies after she pulled fur.

If the pregnancy is real, you can palpate (feel the stomach area) when the rabbit is about 10-14 days along into her pregnancy (gestation period). At that time period, the babies inside will be round and will be about the size of a grape or a marble. Palpating before that time period the rabbits will tend to be too small to feel. Palpating after that time period and you might mistake a baby for one of the rabbit's organs because they are larger.

Another way to help tell is to watch the rabbit's weight and stomach. Their weight will go up during a pregnancy and towards the end of it the stomach will normally start to sag a little.

Another thing you can do is to check the female back in with the male and to see how she acts. If she runs away or fights she is most likely bred. But that isn't always a sure sign.
There is no real difference in the symptoms, apart from there are no babies!!

Feel her stomach, if you can feel movement then yes, she is pregnant!

If not, it is a phantom pregnancy.
