How long does it take for a neutered rabbit to calm down?

I've just recently neutered my male rabbit. I've been keeping him in a separate cage and away from my female rabbit because he was still raging over her. He's still pretty aggressive towards my boyfriend as well. How long will it take for him to calm down? I'm also worried about his stitches. How long will it take for that to heal up?How long does it take for a neutered rabbit to calm down?
Males can take a month or longer to get rid of all the hormones. You also need to keep him away from any females that have not been spayed, he can still have sperm for a month. It is best to keep him seperated from your female for as long as you can.

If you plan on bonding them, get her spayed and let her heal before bonding. If she is already spayed, you don't need to worry about her getting pregnant, but still wait for about a month from now before starting to bond.

The stitches should be healed in about 10-14 days. If they need to be removed, the vet should do it at no extra charge. This is also done in about 10-14 days. Some vet do an incesion check to make sure everything is healing like it should. Keep him off of wood shavings until he is healed. Towels, blankets and newspaper are suitable until then. How long does it take for a neutered rabbit to calm down?
Did you say YOU neutered it or did you bring it to a vet? My male rabbit was fine a few days after and was not aggressive. Did it take?
Up to a few weeks, maybe more. If it looks like there is something wrong with the stitches, you should phone the vet ASAP. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.
