How unsafe exactly is it to wash a rabbit's butt and feet with regular shampoo?

If we rinsed it really well, would it be that much of an issue? Or could she get really sick? How unsafe exactly is it to wash a rabbit's butt and feet with regular shampoo?
Regular shampoo is too strong for a rabbit... it'll take all the natural oils off her coat. Just buy some baby shampoo or pet shampoo, it's a lot softer. Dog shampoo would be okay. How unsafe exactly is it to wash a rabbit's butt and feet with regular shampoo?
Human chemicals are too strong for animals. Get her a baby shampoo at least. Or dilute with 3 parts water. If you love your rabbit a lot, get her a pet shampoo.
try puppy shampoo......thats relly good!!!!!!!

or ferret shampoo...is absolutley perfect they have different kinds get the one that says sensitive skin
dilute it or get pet shampoo, if she eats it she could get sick and die

There may be no difference except the trims. As for the Chevy Cobalt, the 2008 is a carryover from 2007 with an upgraded trim.

How much does it cost to get a rabbit spade?

I have a very grumpy bunny and need to get her spade but just wondered how much this costs? How much does it cost to get a rabbit spade?
it is around 70 pounds but it varies from vet to vet

call up a few local vets and ask them how much they charge

well done for getting her spayed though :)How much does it cost to get a rabbit spade?
lol....

you will have to call vets in your area.

also call the humane society for coupons for getting her fixed.

good luck.
Completely depends on where you live, but anything from around 拢60 - 拢120. Call up your local vets and ask, they won't mind if you don't book there and then.
the best idea is to keep it away from the opposite sex if you cant afford to have it neutered/spayed

or as americans say ....'fixed'!!
would this be for whacking the rabbit or burying it?
I think you mean spayed.
If you get it from a decent pet shop 拢3
not much, theyre about the same price as a hare shovel
call your vet and ask. there is no way we would know.

Can a lawn that has been yellowed by rabbit urine be restored to a healthy state?

It seems the rabbits, wild cottontails, return to the same general area of the lawn, big area as it is. Also with returning the grass to a healthy state how do I keep the critters away? Can a lawn that has been yellowed by rabbit urine be restored to a healthy state?
Most Feed stores carry ZOODO, OR BIG CAT SCAT, use it as a fertilizer, just scatter it and rake it in, it will not only give you a beautiful lawn, but the will animal will stay off from your lawn. Can a lawn that has been yellowed by rabbit urine be restored to a healthy state?
I have 5 wild rabbits in my yard every evening...but do not have any grass killed...However there is a portion next to it, there is a dog and there all kinds of killed grass. Dog urine will kill grass every time. There a variety of grubs that can and do kill grass by eating the roots.
Water the area heavy. Most problem comes from the varmit cutting the turf too low.

A pellet gun works well or a $3.00 dog pound reject works even better!!!

What can i do to prevent my female rabbit from having fetal giants instead of litters?

I have bred my female rabbit 3 times now. The first time she had a fetal giant. Then the second time she had 3 healthy kits. After waiting about a year and breeding her again she once again had a fetal giant. Is there something i can do to prevent this from happening and help her to have a healthy litter of kits because rabbit breeding is a project of mine for the ag program at school and i don't want to part with my doe. What can i do to prevent my female rabbit from having fetal giants instead of litters?
It's genetic. Don't breed her! Just because a doe produces fetal giants, hippos, max factors, or fetal giants doesn't mean you have to get rid of her!

It may be the buck you bred her to. Check and see if the 1st buck was related to the 3rd, or the same. Otherwise you cannot prevent genetic patterns in her litters. What can i do to prevent my female rabbit from having fetal giants instead of litters?
So if you can't breed with this bunny, you're going to get rid of her??? How pathetic!

Maybe get a different project, spay your rabbit %26amp; let her have a chance of a long %26amp; healthy life.
Im not sure what a fetal giant is? But try only breeding her 1-2 times and i have had litters up to 7 before that were all healthy!
I don't believe in breeding... sorry

How long does it take for a Lionhead rabbit to become fully grown?

What I am asking is at what age does a Lionhead rabbit typically reach it's full weight. I do not mean how long until it's mane grows bigger or when can I breed him. How many months until the rabbit will not grow anymore weight wise? How long does it take for a Lionhead rabbit to become fully grown?
Hi...I've been raising and showing rabbits for 10 years. Lionheads become fully mature and fully grown at 6 months of age. And they're supposed to be between about 3 and 1/2 and 3 and 3/4 pounds, not to get bigger than 3 and 3/4 lb. Also, if you haven't gotten one yet please consider finding a reputable breeder. It won't cost you any more if you get a pet quality one from a breeder, and you will get a much healthier rabbit. Hope this helps and please feel free to contact me with any more questions. How long does it take for a Lionhead rabbit to become fully grown?
    6 months.
