What is the safest way to let my rabbit play outside?

I have a super cute lop rabbit who I think is a french lop because she is huge now. I also have a dwarf, he is medium sized, and I would like to take them outside in the spring. What is the easiest way? have any tips? do they hate the heat/cold?What is the safest way to let my rabbit play outside?
When outside rabbits can be preyed upon or frightened by cats, birds of prey and other outside pets (if you have any). They are also very sensitive to heat and can get heat stroke quickly. If it's not too hot you can supervise your rabbit outside, or you can buy a fencing unit to create a rabbit play pen. They sell fences that can be attached together to make a big play area. You'll also first want to do an assessment of your yard so that you can do any bunny-proofing before you let your rabbit out. You'll want to look for potential poisons or items in your yard that you don't want your rabbit chewing on (like water hoses). In your play area you use boxes or tubing to create hiding spots and playthings. I'd also suggest putting toys and other opportunites that rabbits enjoy doing (chewing, grazing, digging). If you have an overhang you can also put this play pen in the shade so that you don't have to worry too much about direct sun light on your bunny. Also, SmallAnimalChannel.com has a listing of some great homemade rabbit toys that you might be interested in creating for your rabbit to play with outdoors. They can overheat very quickly so shade is very important. Water bowls available too.

Most people have a ex-pen like the ones used for dogs that they put their bunny in. This works well. I will highly advise that you also have a cage top or some kind of firm screening on the top as well. Many a bunny has disappeared in the talons of a hawk or owl even in urban areas. Which brings me to my next point, don't leave them outside alone. Even if you are with them, have a top to the pen.
Set up a little playpen/fence in your yard. Make sure there is no fertilizer on the grass, and look up what plants are in your yard and check whether they are harmful to rabbits.

Hot weather is bad for rabbits. They like to be pretty cool, and handle cold much better than we do. Conversely, hot weather is very bad for rabbits. At 80-85潞F, you have to keep a close eye on them and make sure they do not suffer heatstroke or. It is best to not take them out when the weather is warm like this. If you choose to, or if it is warm in your house, get a fan or place an ice pack near your rabbits so they can cool off.
Get one of those puppie playpens, and just lay something over the top of it. If the rabbit is used to heat and a/c make sure it is a nice day outside.
you can buy special rabbit harnesses

mine has little carrots on it (:

they love the eat dandalion weeds

these are perfectly okay for them to eat as long as they werent grown with chemical fertiliser

this goes for any plants

keep rabbits away from anything grown with fertiliser
Don't let your rabbit run around outside.
just buy a little wire fence thing, make it into a circle

set it up in the grass

and there you go!

and im sure theyll be fine in the spring
get one of those big round fences and let it go but still watch it and it will be fine after the fence just folds up for storage!
Depending on ur yard size get sum of that wiring for gardens to keep animals out and put it in ther
let them go in the a screened incloser if a big dog or a bird ever came by it could come and pick up your rabbits.
