How Can i get my mom to let me buy a rabbit? I found a free cage and stuff all i need is the rabbit!?

We already have two cats but i take care of them really well. WE have space for a rabbit but my mom says they smell. DO they relaly smell? Do ou have any Websites to help me with rabbit care? How Can i get my mom to let me buy a rabbit? I found a free cage and stuff all i need is the rabbit!?
Tell your mom that they are easy to train like cats. They can be trained to use a litter box like cats. We used to raise rabbits. Go to google or ask.com and look up rabbit care. How Can i get my mom to let me buy a rabbit? I found a free cage and stuff all i need is the rabbit!?
bring her to the humane society and see how sad the rabbits look.
If you don't clean out it's litter tray every 2nd day or so then yes, they smell.

You also need to consider that a rabbit can live for up to 15 years; needs annual and bi-annual vaccinations; will need neutered; will need a healthy diet; needs at least 3 hours of human contact a day; are fragile and can quickly become ill and die; hates being picked up.

You also have to double check the hutch; if the old occupant died from illness then it will still have bacteria etc that can infect the new occupant; if the previous owner got out or a predator got in; then it isn't safe enough to use for any animal.
yes they can smell, but they shouldn't if you clean their cage every second or third day. I clean my rabbits cage every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They are great pets but can be very noisy with their foot thumping. They also are very messy with their hair going everywhere.but they are very loving creatures. You have to be careful with the cats around the bunny though, because rabbits can get very scared very easily.
First, don't keep it in the house. I know they can be litter box trained but it's much safer and easier to care for if they stay in the cage in the garage, a shed, etc...It may seem mean but give it enough attention and it can't miss the freedom it never really had anyway. Buck rabbits do spray and smell a bit, but does (females) are much cleaner. Find a responsible breeder to pick out your rabbit. The Humane Society does have rabbit occasionally, however you don't know where they've been or where they got them from. Some places are harsh on breeders and take their rabbits from them accusing animal abuse. Check out www.arba.net or www.rabbitandcavydirectory.com. I don't suggest www.rabbit.com because some of their views parallel PETA. Good luck!
let her see how responsible you are. im sure u clean out the litter box for ur cats and if u dont that will stink waaay worse than a rabbit so tell her that. i also dont think they take to much responsibility.
